Prerequisite: Basic Knowledge of Mac OS X
The course gives a basic introduction to the Final Cut Pro interface, file management, basic editing tools, and capturing and exporting video and audio. Students will be introduced to the basic editing vocabulary and functions necessary to get started on using the Final Cut Pro. The course generally runs from five to six hours, depending on the number of students and student learning curves. The course is split across two days to assist with student retention rate of information and to review concepts covered the first day.
