BREAKING BAD IS BACK……
We will start shooting Season II of Breaking Bad starting July 14th and will shoot thru December.

BACKGROUND CASTING CALL - DATE CHANGE:
SATURDAY AUGUST 2ND from 10AM to 4PM AND
SUNDAY AUGUST 3RD from 12Noon to 5PM

Special Note: We have upgraded the pay due to gas prices for the new season of Breaking Bad… Background Rates are now $9.00 hour and Stand In will now be getting $11:50 hour. Standard guaranteed 8hours, OT after 8hours applies.
This casting call will be for Background Actors but, please keep in mind this series has upgraded or discovered several actors for speaking roles by working with background actors or submitting background actors because the look was right for a speaking role. If you are listed on FilmSavage.com you do not need to addend the casting call. Please come with headshot and resume if you have it… if not we will take your picture and get your info. If we have your information on file, it would be a good idea to attend the Casting Call to update your photo and information.
The First Episode does not have a lot of background… Please stay posted every eight days we will be shooting a new Episode and the background needs will vary. We will be using the classroom kids again but, not for this first Episode. Also, many of the people that have worked on Breaking Bad will be used again but, as you know it depends on what the needs are of the script.
OTHER PROJECTS
We will be also starting towards the end of July "Saint John of Las Vegas" a great project that will be filming for 22 days towards the end of July and begining of August. As you know Darlene Hanson is doing background casting on "Crash" and several projects will be starting soon including a rumor of some westerns coming that should be making their way here within the next several months.

As for the Actor's Strike, and this is my opinion only….. I think they will vote to extend negotiations rather than strike but, again that is my opinion. Please see the link below for more information and videos about the issues.
